Smart Matte Shrink

Overview:
Allows for alpha channel choking without compromising the fine detail of the matte. It can shrink the matte from multiple sides, or just the edges facing a certain direction.
Parameters:
Setup Preview:
Shows the state of the selected number of sides and their direction, as well as simulates the affected areas.
Shrink Sides:
Selects the number of angles from which to shrink the matte inwards.
Singe, Double, Tri, Quad.
Angle:
Sets the direction from which the selected number of sides will operate.
Shrink Amount:
The size of inwards shrinking in pixels.
Blend With Original:
Mixes the shrunk alpha with the original alpha.
0 - Shrunk only.
100 - Original only.
Edge process:
Determines what to do with the edge.
Offset - Moves the edge inwards.
Spread - Merges multiple near angles for a softer look without blurring.
Spread Detail - How many near angles will be used for each direction.
Spread Angle - The distance between each of the near angles.
Gaussian - Blurs the edge.
Blur Settings - Selects the size of the blur:
Match Depth - Proportional to the “Shrink Amount” size, giving a blurred edge.
Erode - Larger than the shrink amount size, giving a faded sharp edge.
Custom - Allows to se “Blur Amount X” and “Blur Amount Y” manually.
Do Not Shrink Frame Borders:
Keeps the alpha near the frame borders unaffected. This is desires in cases such as a medium shot where you would not want to have the alpha shrink to cause a gap between the buttom of the frame and the alpha of the object.
